NEW CAR RELEASE STAFF
Job Summary:
The New Car Release Staff is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient release of newly sold vehicles to customers. This role requires keen attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and a customer-oriented mindset to guarantee a seamless and satisfying vehicle handover experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure the vehicle meets Toyota’s quality standards before release.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, polished, and in perfect condition before handing them over to the customer.
- Verify that all necessary vehicle accessories are installed correctly and functioning properly.
- Check and prepare all required documents for vehicle release, including sales invoices, warranties, and registration papers.
- Ensure all customer information is accurate and up to date in the records.
- Secure customer signatures on relevant documents to complete the vehicle release process.
- Coordinate with customers regarding their vehicle release schedules and provide updates as necessary.
- Assist customers during the vehicle release, including explaining features, functions, and warranty coverage.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly during the handover process.
- Drive vehicles from the dealership’s holding area to the release area with care and precision.
- Ensure vehicles are parked properly and safely in the designated release area.
- Be ready to assist in the transport of vehicles when necessary, either for test drives or special customer requests.
- Coordinate with the sales and service departments to ensure that vehicle release processes are completed on time.
- Report any issues, delays, or damages encountered during the vehicle preparation or release process to management immediately.
- Maintain records of released vehicles for accurate tracking and inventory purposes.
- Perform other tasks related to vehicle preparation, delivery, and customer service as assigned by the management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols during all vehicle handling activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a high school graduate.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Can work effectively with less supervision and handle tasks independently.
- Willing to work overtime as needed to meet release schedules.
