Job Summary:
The Quality Controller at Toyota Cagayan de Oro is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality before delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles, including visual and functional checks, to ensure they meet Toyota’s quality standards.
- Test drive vehicles to assess performance, and handling, and identify any mechanical or technical issues.
- Identify and document any defects, inconsistencies, or issues found during inspections.
- Coordinate with service and repair teams to ensure timely and accurate rectification of identified issues.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and dealership standards.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive standards and quality control procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and submit reports on quality control activities and outcomes to management.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints related to vehicle quality by conducting thorough investigations and providing solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering vehicles that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Participate in training programs to enhance quality control skills and stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
- Train and supervise junior staff or trainers in quality control processes and best practices.
- Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff to ensure a seamless and efficient quality control process.
- Communicate effectively with the sales team to provide updates on vehicle readiness and any potential delays.
- Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet customer and dealership demands.

- Utilize both manual and automatic transmission driving skills to perform test drives and inspections.
