Job Summary:
The Engineering Staff plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and functionality of the dealership’s buildings, facilities, and equipment. This role involves assisting in construction projects, repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment that complies with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance & Repairs:
- Oversee and perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of buildings, mechanical systems, and dealership equipment.
- Ensure that all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other structural systems are functioning properly and safely.
- Project Assistance & Coordination:
- Assist in planning and implementing construction or renovation projects within the dealership.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-efficient project completion.
- Equipment Monitoring:
- Monitor and maintain workshop tools, machinery, and other technical assets, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Schedule regular servicing and calibration of essential equipment.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, equipment logs, and project progress.
- Report concerns and provide suggestions for improvements to management.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and Toyota standards.
- Support environmental and safety programs as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with experience in building construction, repair, and equipment maintenance
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards work
