Job Summary:
The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that vehicles and automotive services meet Toyota’s quality standards before release to customers. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, road testing vehicles, identifying defects or concerns, and coordinating with service and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections on vehicles after servicing, repair, or preparation.
- Perform road tests to evaluate vehicle performance, safety, and overall condition.
- Ensure all repair work complies with Toyota quality standards and service guidelines.
- Direct Identification & Reporting:
- Identify, document, and report any defects, irrigularities, or incomplete work.
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to address quality concerns promptly.
- Verify corrective actions before final vehicle release.
- Customer Satisfaction & Service Support:
- Ensure vehicles released to customers are clean, safe, and in optimal working condition.
- Support service teams in resolving customer concerns related to vehicle quality.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach during inspections and field-related tasks.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Accomplish quality checklists, inspection reports, and related documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and Toyota procedures.
- Assist in maintaining records for audit and quality monitoring purposes.
- Fieldwork & Coordination:
- Perform field-related tasks such as vehicle transfers, test drives, and on-site inspections as required.
- Work closely with service, aprts, and operations teams to maintain quality consistency.
- Willing to render overtime to support operational requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive-related courses
- At least five (5) years of driving experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Customer service-oriented, adaptable, flexible, and willing to perform fieldwork
